These terms govern your use of Paradox Solutions. By creating an account you agree to them. They're written to be read — if anything is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
Last updated August 8, 2026Paradox Solutions ("Paradox", "we") is invoicing, recurring-billing and payment-page software that operates your own CardConnect / CardPointe gateway account on your instructions. We are not a bank, payment processor, money transmitter or money services business. Card processing is provided by Fiserv / CardConnect under your own merchant agreement; funds settle directly from your processor to your bank account and never pass through us.
Your relationship with your processor — rates, reserves, underwriting, chargebacks and payouts — is between you and them. Paradox gives you software controls over that account; it does not change what that account is allowed to do.
Paradox costs $10 per month or $100 per year (two months free), billed to the card you provide at signup and automatically on each renewal. Prices exclude any taxes we are required to collect. There are no per-invoice fees and we never take a percentage of your processing volume.
There is no contract: you can cancel any time and your service runs until the end of the period you already paid for. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. If a renewal charge fails we will retry and notify you; continued failure may suspend the service until payment succeeds.
You agree not to use Paradox to:
We may suspend accounts that put cardholders, other merchants or the platform at risk, and we will tell you why.
Your customers, invoices and transaction records are yours. We use them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing terms. You can export your transaction data at any time from the app. If you close your account we will delete your data on request, subject to records we must keep by law.
Where texting is available, you may only enable texts for a customer who has actually agreed to receive them — either through the consent checkbox on your payment page or by telling you directly, which you record on their profile. Texts are limited to transactional messages about that customer's own payments and subscriptions, are sent by Paradox Solutions on your behalf, and always honor STOP. You are responsible for the accuracy of any consent you record. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Recipients can text "STOP" to cancel at any time or "HELP" for assistance (support: [email protected]). The full program terms your customers agree to are our Mobile Messaging Terms, and data handling is covered by our Privacy Policy.
We work hard to keep Paradox available and fast, but the service is provided "as is" and depends on third parties (including your gateway) that we don't control. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces what you paid for, we'll tell you before it lands.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Paradox's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses arising from your processor relationship (including declined transactions, chargebacks, reserves or account closures). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Paradox at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create legal risk, or remain unpaid after notice. On termination we will make your data available for export for 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County. Questions?
